Today rocked because:
- In spite of not having read the seminar text and being about five/ten minutes late, I managed to make a point that made Alston go "*thoughtful look* Yeah, that's a very very good point. Pity it's not new, so you can't publish it, I'm afraid. Someone's just written something about that..." So win.

So, the people Melanie and I were meant to be sharing a house with next year have just bailed on us. Stephanie's decided - for reasons she will discuss with no one - that she's not going to come back next year. And Helena's decided she's going to move back into halls, if Stephanie's not coming.
