HEY LOOK AT MY ART AND SHIT.
Look at me, posting so soon. Leonardo is appropriate for this post because it's mostly art shit. I tried to keep a sketch blog but...well I'm lazy. So I'm just posting my shit here.
So some of you mostly leesers wanted to see my portfolio. I'll just show off the stuff that got the best responses from my book. I had some other stuff in there but I wasn't crazy about now, that I can't wait to change. If you've seen my one DA account then you've probably already seen this but OH WELL.
Personal stationary set along with my envelop and business cards. I really like the back of the one where it has the back of my head, the font doesn't do anything for me. I need to change it. My address and shit is blurred out because I have this posted online. I tried to show something cartoony considering most of my shit is involves imagery in some way.
An image done for the city of Lancaster (which by the way there was some fun dramu behind this whole project, none that involves me of course). But the images are based off of my own photos that I took around the city, and I attempted to show off the different parts of the city. I tried to keep the amount of colors down for cost reasons, but that didn't work out. If the city would have picked my design it would have been a bit expensive.
Made up homeless organization, the address is fake and what not. But originally I had this really sad image of a homeless man and his dog, but there was a complaint that it didn't match with my images. So I went with this. SUPER CUTE HOMELESS PEOPLE. And this is what I'm known for. Super cute.
AND NOW WHAT I'M CURRENTLY WORKING ON.
Fake juice (actually it used to be a real juice but Clover Farms doesn't make it anymore). OMG SURPRISE, I did something super illustrative and cute. I had comments that the mango and guava looked like watermellon and potato, so I tried to adjust them a bit to fix it. I have to print this and make a comp real quick for tomorrow, so we'll see how that turns out. My printer is out of color ink so I have to go in early tomorrow and get it done quick.
AND NOW SOME FUN DOODLE TIEM YES?
Oh goodness, I do in fact doodle. I really haven't had the time to go out and draw something amazing, most of that goes towards my portfolio now. But because of my new art history class I find myself doodling again. I only need to occasionally put in a comment to sound like I'm paying attention.
So I don't know if anyone noticed, but I'm really obsessed with MGS right now. So what do I do? Fem!Otacon of course. The one on the right is Boy!Emma (er Eric now, right?). Snake would have been...really different towards Otacon if he was a girl (duh, but I mean, probably really different).
Top left was Maya holding a large coffee, from a little thing I was doing earlier. Her arms are pudgy and big looking. Then to the right is Fem!Otacon. I have a feeling if she was around the apartment coding she would just wear a random tanktop and Snake's boxers lolol wut.And then Snake helping Fem!Otacon with her bad ankle. See, he would have been much nicer. 8B
See, I didn't forget that Otacon is in fact a guy. He looks so miserable at the top. Mostly because I was probably tired. The bottom is Otacon trying to get Snake to watch some GUNDAM with him. Snake is not interested.
Otacon, Meryl and Snake. This was the first doodles I did of them to try and get them right. I never finished it, but after this I had planed on doing some Assassin's Creed and MGS crossover...Meryl would be Rosa and Otacon Leonardo. I had a hard time with Snake because he would make a far better Altair then Ezio. But maybe Raiden would work better as Ezio...hmm.
Done after I killed Sniper Wolf, maybe the inspiration behind it. Otacon is very sad he lost the woman he loved who probably barely knew his name.
Oh goodness, I need to explain this one. Okay so brizybdarling had this sort of crack idea of Kristoph when he was younger going off to America and working under Diego and Mia, and I was like WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT IF HE MET MAYA?! So Mia forces Kristoph and Maya to go off on a date shutupitwwasfunny. So with some...age bending and what not, we have Kristoph and Maya's date. 8I
Okay so enough with the art rambling. Today we had this free exchange at school, so we were able to give away some things and get some stuff for free. So of course, me loving free stuff managed to snag a few things for free. Two pairs of sweatpants and some shirts. YAY ME. I've been pretty much caught up on my work. I could get ahead and what not...but...
Oh god I really need to finish my Miku dress. My freaking peticoat got shipped to my house, not apartment. WHY THE FUCK DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING!? Seriously, I switched the addresses and everything. So why does ebay KEEP fucking with me. I just may have to go without out it, which is annoying. But other then that, I still need to finish the details on the headphones and the lace. I'm anxious, because I hate not being ready...and Katsu is coming up so quickly. Uguuuu.
