Nothing significant.
As most of you already know from my excited text, I'm finally playing AAI. Dear god it killed me when I got it, because I had to WAIT to play it and that shift was hellish, oh god. It's like that shift was TESTING me before I got the chance to go on and actually enjoy my game, but I've been playing during any free time I have. I'm about midway through the third case, and let me say, this game is CAMEO FULL. I won't give away the AMOUNT but still, it's insane. But I love it at the same time, because it makes me fangirl already. I'm really happy with the game. Of course my opinion is already sort of bias already, but still, I'm enjoying myself.
Oh yes, the hellish sort of shift. There was the normal little stuff like customers who said and did annoying things, not worth mentioning or the little brats who wrecked the store, again, normal. No, here's what wasn't normal. A child was left abandoned at our store. When we first saw him in there, we thought we was with someone, there was several sets of adults and its normal that parents let them wander around a bit, the store isn't that big. But when someone came up and asked us about him, we realized he wasn't with anyone. So my manager had me stay with him so he didn't wander off or someone else take him, while he called security. The kid was quiet and dirty. He had a hard time talking to me, it took a little bit of coaxing, I got him interested in the games and he started talking with me. He had no idea how he got there, and he didn't know where his parents where, he was like...five or six years old. Security woman came by and took him away, I have no idea if they found his parents. I was just blown away really. I hoped to god that the kid really wasn't just left there, he might have been though. Ugh. And to end the night, some dick poured coffee all over the PC games. Neither my manager or saw who did it, a customer pointed it out to us. So we were left to scrub that spot and all the coffee soaked games FUCK YOU GODOT. Thankfully the games themselves aren't kept in the cases, they're for display for the most part. BUT if its the last copy of the game we take it out and the actual case is left out. So...yeah. If we don't have extra's we have to comp the BRAND NEW GAME. It really sucks, because our store is suffering right now. Honestly, I don't know come lease time if they'd want to renew it, since our numbers aren't that great. Doesn't help that the other gamestop in the store talks shit on ours. Fuckers.
BUT. I took home a Dante from Dante's Inferno figure. Why? Because I take almost every free swag thing I can.
He guard's Yui and Miku. I call him the loli guard. Enjoy just a hint of my cluttered desk.
I'm home for the weekend, which is awesome. Getting my laundry done and I get some awesome food. Corinne was going home this weekend too, so her brother took us home, and my dad will drive us back on Monday. My mom was so excited to see me, it made me rather happy to see her that excited.
So now I'm super relaxed, my sister and I watching TV together. Tomorrow Beth and I will explore KoP again, and I miss that big expensive awesome mall.
