OHAYOCON aka AMAZING.
Dear god. This was probably the best con I've been to in a while. I was so excited for the build up and it was completely worth it. I write all this now because I'm spending pretty much all of tomorrow doing homework. I'm too lazy to do it now. And way too excited from the con high. I managed to get my photos uploaded and what not.
SO TO START OUT.
raynebitch88 comes along on Wednesday and picks me up that night. Drive back to her place and then we pretty much get right to bed. Then come Thursday morning we get our asses up and begin the long ass drive. And oh m god, the drive there sucks so bad. At first Beth and I are all "YEAH YEAH AWESOME TIME TALK TALK" and then there's the breakdown where we're all sore and tired and just want to get to the hotel. Best part of the car ride?
It's nearly impossible to see, but that truck says LEESER on it. 8I
OKAYSOTOTHEPOINT. We get in and check in and all that good shit. But when we go and try get our badges and they're like "LOL CAN'T GET IT UNTIL 10PM LOLOLOL" and of course Beth and I are tired, so we're stuck waiting. We met our roommate at some point and we all waited together. Overall the whole roommate thing turned out pretty well. We only had a minor problem with her, but we sort of figured a way around it and it worked out well. We really never saw her the whole time, I think she stayed out later then us, but she never woke me up coming in. It was a very ideal situation. Pretty much 10pm rolls around, we get our badges and get to bed right away.
NEXT DAY. Beth actually gets up before me. Normally I tend to get up earlier and have to sort of drag her to follow me. BUT NO. Beth proved me wrong and managed to make me sort of rush along to catch up. DAY ONE was all about Trucy. Since I only had one gathering to worry about, I could prance around as Trucy all day. I kept getting this silly comment about how people knew who I was, but never played the fourth game. It made me lol a bit. I'm sort of hoping to find this one pic a guy took with me and his face was all super excited and everything (pfft I know its early, ppls will put up more photos later).
We let panicbutter and Katie use our room for changin' and what not, it worked out super well since we were at a lot of the same shit (and I could steal them for myself mwahahaha). But it was so super exciting to get everyone together and meet up with everyone for the con. Of course we got to meet with the adorable leesers and solstice_wind . And I got the chance to meet qotastic and wolfishrose for the first time, and ohmygoodness. You guys made an amazing Lana and Maggey <333 AND OF COURSE, meeting up with my big sis trickssi was amazing.
I'll try not to put too much that you guys have pretty much have already seen or been there through (since most of the people reading this were there with me).
Sat with pretty crazy, since that was day I had the most costume changes. Beth was amazing and put up with all of that craziness. The PW shoot was fun, better organized this year. The one Friday night was the easiest since there was less people, but I still had a great time. We had some mad awesome photos. Then panicbutter , Beth, Katie and I ran back up to the room to change (them for FFIX and me for Hetalia). And OHMYFUCKINGGAWD. Hetalia was insane.
That's...not even everyone. That's all Beth could fit in the photo. Just wow. I was surprised that I was the only Ukraine there. I was utterly blown away by the amount of people. It was fairly well organized for a bit by two people, and when they left that's when Beth and I wandered away, things were getting too loud and too much.
Beth and I were sort of left to our own devices so for the most part we sat around, I snagged a few photos and we stalked a DMC shoot. I'm really glad we got a chance to all sit together for the Masq, it made waiting in line so much better. The masq was pretty...eh this year. There was some really funny skits that I loved, but overall the skits were better last year. Way better.
AH. The Silent Hill shoot was pretty fun, except for my pink armpits. It had been a while since I had seen an SH gathering. I wasn't surprised with the amount of PH's there and nurses. But it was really was so awesome getting a chance to be part of a super awesome photoshoot. I can't wait to see the photos from that.
AND OH GOD THE DRIVE BACK. It was long, seriously. I felt like a zombie. But I'm back now. Maybe not so glad. Because then there's school work and all that...unnng. Don't even want to think about it. So instead I'll post some of my favorite photos from the con.

Okay, all the silliness aside. I had SUCH an amazing time. Srsly guys I was so sad I had to leave. I was so happy to meet up with you guys (people I already knew and people I had just met). I really can't wait until I can meet up with you guys again (probably Tekko rite?). I think this is seriously the most fun I've ever had at a con. I hope you guys had just as much fun and are safe and sound at home <33
