Today, the weather is beautiful.

This was a bit surprising, I must say; the past week and a half, the weather has been utterly wretched: cold and wet and cloudy, and the Employee Dining Room flooded. Yesterday, I was persisting in jokes at work about how buisness was bound to pick up once the weather improved.

Good: It snowed today! Eeee! I haven't seen snow since winter of 2005-2006, not counting that one day in Beijing, which you shouldn't because acid isn't water.
Bad: My shoes, it seems, are not made for snow. I'm not looking forward to going outside. Espeically since it's snowing again.

I'm home for Thanksgiving. And it is freezing.

Also, Zoë is visably a teenager. By which I mean she's maybe two inches shorter than me. At twelve. Also (and I'm saying this purely as an observation), I feel like her chest was... flatter in August. I'm going to hell, aren't I?

You know what I hate? Days like today: days when the only thing I've accomplished, twelve hours after I woke up, is read the last thirty pages of The Farthest Shore (which took way too long to do), open a package (and then blog about it! The sun might have been within it's radius of the horizon, but there was no way of knowing it. The sky was flooded with clouds, dark clouds thick with incipient rain.
