Friday, we went to see The Tale of Despereaux. Spoilers and all that, for Despereaux in all forms.

I've been back from Tampa a couple days. It was good to see Sara, and her parents seemed to like me well enough. I honestly wasn't really that worried about it, so... hey! My laid back attitude was justified.

Saw Sweeney Todd last week. It... well, it was good. I didn't like it, but it was good.

You know what is great? Feast of Love. Fantastic film; saw it by chance having never heard of it before. Most enjoyable.

Just watched Hot Fuzz.

Hot Fuzz is, as it turns out, entirely manufactured from pure Win. Like Shaun of the Dead (by the same people), you think of it as a comedy, because it is a comedy. Just watched The Last King of Scotland.

It seems to me that the lesson you should walk away with after seeing the film is this: Don't trust charisma.
