so I found out today that a friend of mine may have cancer. Most of the people that are on my LJ fl are also on FB so this doesn't come as news. But unlike FB, I can actually elaborate a little bit on it. Cancer is a scary thing and I have had too many people I know be stricken with it. My friend Anne has/had breast cancer and then cancer basically eat her up, bones and all. My favorite boss lady lost her husband in just 12 days after he was diagnosed with it. My friend Jody has cancer of the kidneys and he seems to think that it is coming back. Now my friend Chris probably has lung cancer. I am guessing lung because he has to have a chest x-ray. I am not sure of any other types of cancer that developes in the chest area. My great aunt also died of breast cancer and my aunt had a mastectomy(sp)but as far as I know it didn't come back.
