Today, Kathryn and I went hiking with a 20s and 30s group out to Cedar Falls, just east of Ramona. Cedar falls is the tallest waterfall in the San Diego area, coming in at a little over 100 feet, and it splashes down into a "punch bowl" which is deep enough to do cliff diving into when water is coming over the falls. Kathryn and I went hiking at Cuyamaca State Park today after she got back from church. It was a pleasant 70 degrees F and a lovely four mile hike around 7,000 feet above sea level. The surprising thing is that there was snow on the ground for quite a bit of the hike, and even some frozen mud on the trail ( Read more... )
