Yeah. That time of year again. Time for another birthday tomorrow and of course being sick.  I'm on the tail end of a cold, but I can't shake it.

I think I might be spending my B-day at the doctor's.  bleh.

So I've been battling a flu like cold that has left me exhausted and uncontrollably coughing. Went to the doctor yesterday and his conclusion is that I have a rare form of asthma that appears after a bad sickness and will hopefully get better with the use of an inhaler ( Read more... )

I was sick with a stomach virus for 4 days. Immodium AD didn't even work.

What did work?  Florastor and Activia Yogurt.

I ate yogurt.  and I HATE YOGURT.

that rhymed... but still sucked.

I think I'm better today.

Didn't go to California.

Had the Flu. I"ve been on Tamiflu for 5 days.  It has helped, but it's really hard to get my energy back.  Not to mention I must go back to work on Monday.

The past week was a blur of Mucus, tissues and pills.

My mother had to stay with us to watch my son since we were incapacitated.

What a disaster of a week.

So I gave in and went to the doctors to get something for my cold.

I was seen quickly by the nurse. Awesome!

and then waited an hour to see the actual doctor. NOT AWESOME!

So she gave me some PSE stuff which is already working its wonderful magic.

Back at work. Still sick.

I can breathe but my throat is still a little weird and I'm blowing out the yellow snot (the bad snot).

This cold is horrible.  Heather is sick too.

Today was the first day this week that Phin went to daycare.  He had been sick with a cold and fever since Sunday. He seemed happy to see Ms. Rose (the daycare lady) and his friends.

That is much relief to Mom and Dad. We needed a break.  (It's still funny calling myself a Dad!)
