Y'all, if you have not seen the first episode of 221B Baker Street (the new Russian Holmes), I can't recommend it enough. It's set in Victorian times - rare for a remake these days - which it recreates gorgeously but not nostalgically; you can almost smell the horse dung and raw gin.
