almost there....

So, I got an A on both anthropology presentations this week and my 20 page paper!! I just have to write an essay set and then I am done with that class! yay! (too bad I sort of neglected the readings at the end of the semester so that's going to be a little difficult). Otherwise, I think my grades in other classes are good. I hope I can get a 4.0 but I dont know. My h/w grades in water quality are a little low and HW is worth like 30%... I think I am in between a B+ and A in physical and chemical principles so I need to do really well on the lab report and final (:;bites nails::) Otherwise, still a long way to go:

essay set
LEED module for adviser that was due on Monday..:/
ENV 6002 lab
Water quality final
ENV 6002 final
Public health presentation and final paper (need to create survey...)

It will all get done but not with me procrastinating on LJ and facebook. It's one of those things that I don't want to start if I can't finish but I don't have huge blocks of time to finish. I just need to dive in.

Otherwise, have a holiday party with Engineers witout Borders on friday. Sort of a pot luck thanksgiving around the globe. I'm making quiche (french!) and some hot hard apple cider (mmm..)

So, kind of pointless entry but things are going and I can't wait until break (think I already said that). So many books I want to read. Also want to hang out with friends and family. Should meet up with Kristy Andreski and Koppin.

It will be a nice break before another hectic semester. It won't be like the beginning of this semester with a lot of free time. I have found things to keep me busy. I'm excited for my field engineering class next semester and another class I am taking where I will go to Guyana over spring break to do mercury measurements in the water. Next semester I will hopefully get my peace corps assignment too.

I guess I'm feeling a bit better from last entry. Still stressed about getting everything done but I have got a lot done this week and gotten good grades back so that helps. Turned in my 15 page paper on tuesday and two homeworks today plus all the anthropology presentations. With all my professors doing a sort of wrap up of the semester it has sort of made me nostalgic and look back at this semester. I've made some good friends and great connections here. It has been a good semester and I have learned a lot. Plus I had a bit of fun and went crazy in the beginning. August just seems so long ago.

Alright...back to work! Probably will do an end of the semester review thing. Also, I think I may start my own blog/website like Katie/Chiz have done. A bit more professional one so I can post about my research and everything. Sound like a good idea or would that be completely boring?
