I'm getting ready for my sister's baby shower, and one of the presents I'm planning is a sort of "baby bath time gift basket."

I have some pre-flowering twigs of lavender from my yard. Is there any benefit to stripping the leaves and putting them in a sachet for a bath, or making a pillow for a sleep aid, or something? Or is there any reason this would be harmful?

Guys, I have a problem.

Showering in the winter makes me miserable. We don't have hard (or soft) water, yet whenever I get out of the shower I'm horribly uncomfortable for the entire day.
