I've had a few grey hairs for a while but having been getting more lately. I'm still young and am sick of heaps of different people embarrassing me by making a big deal about my grey hairs all the time. I guess its time to look into hair dye options although I hate having to fuss over my appearance and I hate the idea of applying chemicals to my scalp even more.
I'm hoping for some advice on how to "ease into" dying my hair. Ideally I wish I could just dye the greys and retain my natural colour everywhere else. I don't care if the greys come out a lighter colour than the rest of my hair - just not being grey would help a lot I think.
I've read some good things about lush henna dyes and am wondering if caca brun might work for me. It looks expensive though so I'm wondering if anyone had tried it and can say how many uses one block works for?
The other thing I've seen that interests me is a homemade sage and rosemary tea that you put through your hair weekly until your greys take colour and then just dab onto roots and use monthly after that. This one sounds too good/easy to be true. I'm wondering if anyone here has used it and found it to be effective? Or any similar recipes?
