Tuesday: AP Spanish test. On the way to the Board of Ed. Office to take the test, I passed
Lakeside. A girl who went there ran up
to me as I passed and asked me if I was a substitute teacher. After a confused hesitation, I set her
straight. I walked off and I felt so
OLD! What the hell kind of a substitute
teacher did I look like?! I was wearing
sandals, faded jeans, and an untucked polo shirt! Anyway, the exam was difficult as hell. Glad to get the stupid thing over with.
Drama Club/SMFC elections were after school. It was sad for me, but I couldn’t be more
pleased with the results.
Congratulations to the following new officers…President: Amanda, Vice
President: Ken, Secretary: Shari, Treasurer: Candice, Historian: Sarah M., and
Business Manager: Matt. Coops made it
really nice for me though. I got to
speak a few times and even fake-run for President again (I even gave a speech
for the position) HAHAHA!
Wednesday: In Sociology, during a debate, Mr. Bivona
asked everyone in the class that had a tattoo to raise their hands. Then he asked everyone who wanted a
tattoo to raise their hands. Naturally,
I raised my hand. The entire class
exploded in comments of shock when I did this.
All in good fun, of course, things were said like, “Mr. Straight-laced
wants a tattoo?!” I thought it was all
very flattering. I find that as the
days go on, the more and more I want a tattoo.
I’m sure I’ll never get one though.
How’s it gonna look when I’m old and wrinkled? Where would I put it?
What would I get? Would I always
like what I got? I hate to admit it,
but I don’t think I would. Oh well, I
guess I am straight-laced.
Thursday: AP English test. While passing Lakeside, some girl tried to get me to walk over to
her and her friends and have a conversation.
I just walked on. She called
after me. I just smiled to myself. I really am a stud…NOT. Anyway, I feel pretty confident on how I did
on the exam. Glad to get it done. However, in a strange way, both exams were
kinda fun to take. I can’t really
verbalize it, but it’s fun being in that same situation with everybody else and
just all talking about it together.
Amanda came over after school and watched Rear Window. She has been Hitchcock-de-virginized.
Friday: On Monday, Ana told me she and her family
were going to see Wicked on Broadway Friday night (currently the hottest
show in town) and that they had an extra ticket and wanted to know if I wanted
to go. It was so nice cause I’m always
inviting people to do nice things and yet I never get invited
anyplace. So we went.
The trip was with some people from the town of Riverdale, so
we took a bus. Ana and I had a great
time on the ride over…we talked the entire way.
The show was unbelievable. The story was really intriguing and the
scenery was fascinating. Best aspect
though was the music and singing. The
girl who played the Wicked Witch of the West had the most incredible voice; she
gave me chills. It was a wonderful
night. Again, thank so much Ana.
