Academic Recognition Ceremony
Academic Recognition Ceremony last night. I wrote down Ms. Coopersmith as the teacher
whom I wanted to give a speech about me.
I knew it would be her…and I was right.
Her speech was everything I wanted it to be. It was sweet, but also very funny (I’m so glad because she’s got a great sarcastic sense of humor). She actually made me tear a little during it. Also, she gave me this stuffed animal of a dog as a present to represent my “lost dog, Line” from the Improv. Show. It truly touched my heart. I love her so much.
The entire ceremony was beautiful. Many wonderful speeches. Some that stick out are Mr. Bravaco’s speech about Jen (I teared during that one), Mr. Ciervo’s about Brenna, and Mr. Cera’s about Kim. Oh, and Mr. Master’s cried during his speech for Lindsay! That one really made me tear because it was so touching. The teachers made such an astounding effort to make it a special event for us, and they succeeded. Not that all my twelve years of hard work have been just for that event, however, it surely made it all worth while.
