Basketball game tomorrow at South! 7:15, first home one of the season so I'm excited.
Earlier this evening about half of the Dorians (including me) went and joined Starbuck's holiday party. Actually, we were hired to sing. We pretty much played it by ear, sightread some stuff, and had a little fun with it. It all worked out rather nicely and I must admit that I am rather looking forward to the lovely gift basket from Starbucks that I will be receiving soon. I enjoyed singing though, too, and I would have gladly done it without compensation. I wish we got to do more stuff like that out in the community, instead of just jazz festivals and our concerts at South. Hopefully we'll get a chance to more before this year is over.
Today was Rosa Parks day...a seat on every bus around the country dedicated to her. I was touched...I could almost see her sitting there...haha.
Anyway, I guess that's all that's new at the moment...another weekend coming up, hopefully it'll be a good one for all and filled with holiday joy :)
