Today has felt like a pretty long day...I'm glad it's the weekend, even though homework is looking extra-fun. Tonight I helped out at the little kids' party night over at All That and More for martial arts. It was tiring...I can't even remember what it was like to have so much evergy all of the time...but I had fun and it was probably worth it. Other than that today was mostly catching up from missing classes because of choir and looking for my copy of Othello (which I never did find by the way, so if you come across book 78 let me know).
Only one more week until winter break...man am I looking forward to that, as I'm sure we all are. Speaking of winter break...apparently the White House sent out cards this year to their close friends that said something like "Happy Holidays." Well, the far-right is complaining--saying that they should have said "Christmas" in them, even though these cards were being sent to people of all different faiths. They are also boycotting all stores that do not say "Chirstmas" in their ad-campaigns. Wonderful logic, as usual. I can't say that I'm a fan of Mr. Bush and large corporations, but I have to grudgingly admit that I'm on their side for this one. This is the kind of thing that makes you wonder why we're not capable of just celebrating the season and not turning it in to another way to politicize everything.
People are dumb sometimes, what else is new. As long as it's not you, I'm okay.
Enjoy your weekend
