Madara first learned Itachi had musical talent when the boy was eleven. Itachi's parents had never mentioned Itachi took music lessons. Given how the bragged on everything else the boy did, Madara was certain they would have mentioned if Itachi took lessons. Still, Madara found his grand-nephew on the piano after one hectic family gathering. Itachi sat at the piano, back straight, in perfect posture. His fingers kissed against the yellowed ivory keys, and the piano was out of tune. No one played it. Except Itachi, it seemed, and how he played it. Beautifully done and perfect with the tone of the song. Also... interesting idea that this would have put him in line for Hokage. "Let it be Sasuke instead." I don't know what's sadder, the fact that he would request that, or the irony ;-;

Two pairs of eyes looked up from their respective activities and turned to stare at each other.
"Did you hear that?" the red-headed puppet master asked silently.
His terrified partner nodded.
Without a second thought, both dropped everything and ran the hell out.
Dun, dun, dun, dun
"So, it's that time, huh?" the Swordsman from the Mist said casually.
"Apparently so." his much shorter partner responded.
"Wanna stay?" Kisame asked with a smirk.
Itachi Uchiha slowly sat up, fixed his cloak and faced his partner. "Hell no!"
And with that, the pair bolted, leaving only two small clouds of smoke.
