Lead up to Glasto!
Have put up tent in garden to make sure that tent-weasels haven't nested in it. It is gloriously free of the little beasties, and I think I may well get some sort of hippie camping badge for how quick I can put it up. I AM Nicola of the Fields and Woods!
I am considering terribly important things like whether or not to pack a bottle or two of something, or a six pack to drink when we get there, as booze is pricey on site. I do realize that I then have to walk several miles carrying camping gear+booze which is faintly ridiculous. Hmm, fellow festival goers? What are you doing about it?
This weekend, cos we aren't busy enough, Mup and I are off to Amsterdam to see thejasper and to celebrate Mup and his birthdays. I have known thejasper since I was 14(? maybe 13?), and since we both moved to our respective countries of origin, he has been to visit me at least 4 times in 13 years, and I have been to see him a grand total of NO times. I hope that I can restore the balance a bit now.
What does anyone recommend doing in Amsterdam? Or near abouts? Jasper? What MUST we do? We are easy going, and like art, and walking around, and um, all sorts of touristy things...
