Feels like I've been hitting a wall lately and everything seems like it's come to a grinding halt. Picked up speedpainting again to try and at least attempt to produce something creative in under an hour or so.

Cleaned out my PS brushes and so far Photoshop hasn't been freezing up. So that's probably what the problem was.

Speedpaints again. Am a little sad that I didn't get to do as many as I did last week, but on the other hand, I find that I'm loosening up a great deal. I hope to try complex subjects next time. Photoshop and reference stock photos again.

Doing more speedpaints again to practice backgrounds (fatal weakness), and color. All are referenced from stock photos so I could study composition as well. My computer has been really, really batty for the past couple of months. For some forsaken reason it keeps shutting down on me. No warning, no blue screen, nothing. It just shuts off. It shuts off at any random time, sometimes it shuts off when I'm in the middle of saving a file (and then I scream. Literally). I think the fan is not working ( Read more... )
