Okay. A long time ago, I would buy 10-lb bags of chicken quarters in the summer when they got rediculously cheap, skin & bone them all, & make HUGE batches of teriyaki to cook & freeze. It has occurred to me that if i *DO* go crazy & buy 20 lbs of whole chickens using the lovely raincheck I got last month, I could dissasemble them and put the meat through that grinder attachment I have for the kitchenaid.

Not that I have any particular love for ground poultry, but i do like making meatloaf with a 1:1 beef to chicken ratio...

Moved on to the burbon/orange juice/ginger/garlic/shoyu/honey chicken legs...

I find it slightly disturbing that a good half of these chicken legs are broken. Poor handling i'm sure, but at the same time I have perverse visions of sad little chickens with casts & crutches...

I'm really kinda sick.
