I'm in Tampa! The flight went well, I've terrified my nephew with my unexplained presence this morning, and Vegas TOTALLY has slot machines in the airport. I don't entirely approve.

Also, Tampa is SO FLAT! It's madness! It's been good seeing everyone, though.

Well, after five hours of calling, I finally reached my mom who made fun of me for being sad that Justin's in Australia and we haven't really been able to talk in about a week.

Ugh, family. -_-

She's also really good at killing my optimism and then immediately telling me just how awesome I am. Seriously, mom, pick one!

Still feeble and pathetic, but I've unpacked all of my books and clothes, which is pretty much the vast, vast bulk of my crap. Mom is shipping my folding shelf, which will be a huge help, Beth found a dresser for me in a dumpster which will be an even huger help, but I'd still like to get some kind of other shelf for my DVDs. Tampa? It was pretty cool. Justin likes my family and they all seem to approve heartily of him, which is excellent, but which I also didn't doubt. He's going to come back up for my Micky/me combined birthday celebration, of which Justin will apparently be included since he's got a March birthday as well.
