In tidying up and bringing things in from the car, I ended up working on my candles again. I used twine, dipped it in wax for a minute, then used it as a wick. It is working perfectly! Wonderful ( Read more... )

I have been making candles. I melted the beeswax in a double boiler, then I dipped my wicks I made a year ago, leaving them each in for a minute. Then I dipped them over and over. Finally as the wax started to cool and get a crust on it, the wax built up on the candles quite quickly ( Read more... )
