Made 22 beeswax tapers, about 5-6" long

I have been making candles. I melted the beeswax in a double boiler, then I dipped my wicks I made a year ago, leaving them each in for a minute. Then I dipped them over and over. Finally as the wax started to cool and get a crust on it, the wax built up on the candles quite quickly.

I took the can out to the tipi and dipped out there for awhile, finding that it cooled really quickly.

So now I've finished, my second peaches can of wax is now hardening up on the bottom of the can and I'm spent. I've been in there since before seven. It's been fun.

I made 22 5-6" candles. They are about 3/4" wide and are tapers. They look hilarious, as I haven't a clue how to make candles! But I did it. I'm going to see if my wick burns now that I've made them into candles. I should have tested my wicks earlier. You know how I am, though!
