Willem and I went over to be with the missionaries as they taught a friend the gospel. We were discussing the word of wisdom, which made me think about my own eating habits. I think I'll made some popcorn, now that I think of it.
It was colder than it had been earlier in the morning. I was glad to get home to our nice warm home and settle in to watch the birds, squirrels and the deer.
After awhile, I decided I'd better grout the tiles in the bathroom upstairs. So I mixed it up, sloppy mess, put it on and rubbed to around and off. What a lot of work. So one more wall is done. Oh, no, all three walls are done, it's the ceiling and the seam that needs work. But that is for another day.
I'm back in my chair with a fresh bowl of popcorn. I facetimed with some lovely folks over in Maine. Twas nice!
PEC and Correlation, or whatever meetings they are, are cancelled for tonight on account of the cold. So Willem is painting all the interior doors that Les put in for us.
I'm glad to stay in, myself. I have the woodshed door closed this year. I think it keeps the kitchen warmer that way, not to have wind battering at the door all the time.
I am giving up sitting in the sun in our big upstairs room to wait for the deer. Willem said he saw seven of them out on the hilltop yesterday around 4pm. I wonder if Cheryl across the road is feeding them at 3:30 like she did a few years ago.
