I had a lot of fun with Ginny last evening, filming her! She has been leaning the window frames in the living room. She's amazing. She's a lot of fun, too.
I think the snowstorm has stopped now. It's mighty cold out again, though. I put a bucket of grain out for the deer on the porch step, but I haven't seen anyone yet.
Perhaps I have time to go to the car and get my zoomy camera. Perhaps it's too cold to go out there, though. Plus the car is down at the bottom of the hill thanks to the storm and being unable to get into the lane last night.
Ginny has been cleaning cupboards in the kitchen for me, too. She's doing amazing work around here.
I'm so glad I've measured a warp to tie on to this one. I realized that the empty heddles are where threads broke and are missing. I'll tie off the warp so that only 37 are in the bundle, then use the rest for filling in holes in the warp! Good plan. It's so quick to tie on a new warp instead of change the whole fabric! I want to extend the width of the cloth, too, so I'll have to thread heddles and reed on the edges of the existing warp. Perhaps I can use my blue mop yarns to do that one. Or perhaps not! I'm not sure this warp is going to be long enough for the mop yarns.
I am also thinking of covering the stairs. Ginny says not to. I'd like to sand them, though. I'd like to make a mud of sawdust and wood glue, fill in the cracks in the stairs, then sand them.
I'm going to go get a new toilet today. I'll get a tall one like before. I also need to get elements for the hot water heater. I need to move all those boxes so I can get into the heater to see which type they are. Lots and lots and lots of work to do that!
