A/N: Written for halfamoon. (A personal *facepalm* that the first one of these to surpass a G rating is the one written for the Disney cartoon.)
Normally, Beth stays with their parents when she's back in the city, but the house is getting renovated, so she's staying with Elisa this week. Beth's excited, imagining what they'll do. She pictures late night gab sessions, chatting about Elisa's growing relationship with Goliath, doing their hair, watching bad action movies, and eating takeout.
The takeout gets cold when Elisa gets a call about a Quarryman attack, and Beth's hairdo is ruined in the firefight, and she doesn't see Goliath, though Angela kicks the crap out of some asshole with an electric sledgehammer.
It's the best girls' night out ever.
