An update's update

Events are slipping through my hands like loose Skittles at the bottom of my Halloween candy bag.

Time was I would log everything I did on this journal and try to make it seem interesting. In the last year I've done tons of stuff, nearly several times a week. While maybe not interesting, it was at least eventful. Kind of like a soap opera.

So I'll try to describe what I've been up to.

I am currently unemployed (mostly, I do have one guy I tutor for 4 hours a week), so I have lots of free days. I thought I'd be able to get more done. Clean my apartment, study Japanese, find out what this whole "cardio" thing is all about; but I've found the opposite is true. When you're free everyday all day, you tend to get lonely. So you sleep late. Then when you do wake up it's the afternoon anyway, so you feel like socializing. You call up whatever friends are available and hang out with them. You'd be surprised how easy it is to just cycle through your friends and hang out with everyone. Before you know it, it's the end of the week and you haven't accomplished anything.

I'll let you know how the weekend goes. To quote South Park, "When you're unemployed, weekends are meaningless".
