You'll never guess what Harvard sent me in the mail.
A box.
With a bag of cookie dough mix.
And an H shaped cookie cutter.
And a bottle of red sprinkles.
And instructions on how to make Harvard Welcome Cookies.
Oh man. I love my school. I couldn't stop laughing. So THIS is where my parents' 42 grand a year is going. I made the cookies, they were very good actually. :)
Yesterday I had a rather pleasant day. I talked to nice people online, including one of my new roomates who spent 10 days in England with three of her best friends at a massive music festival where she saw The Killers, The Thrills, Coldplay, etc....why don't I ever get to do things like that? Oh well, I had a lovely summer of relaxation and friends. And I watched the best parts of P&P while eating molasses cookies and milk. Why don't men dress like Darcy anymore? Cravats and waistcoats and frock coats are so cool. And then I sat down to write all my friends addresses in my new address book...only to open it up and discover that the pages inside the book were glued in backwards and upsidedown. I was greatly frustrated. But I wrote in it anyways.
Tonight I'm going to have dinner with Milo, Amanda, and supposedly Max. That should be much fun. Today is also my last accordion lesson. It makes me sad...I've been going to Marian's house every friday for 9 years. THAT'S A LONG TIME!
I sent some of you an email with all my contact info for college in it....if you didn't get it because I don't know your email or because I sent it to an old email, tell me and I'll send it to you again with the correct addresss.
