Operation renovation continues
It seems like we don't have such an awful hurry at work this week since I've been able to write so many entries... Nice. Except that I'm almost bored. Oh well.
This evening's theatre thingy was cancelled because my friend wasn't allowed to take me with her after all, but that's very much all right. For the first time since this week began I get to go straight home from work! I have, like, time to do things! I am getting a little too behind with watching Oz, The Sopranos and Six Feet Under. I have the two latest episodes from all of those on my to-be-watched list. And some Prison Break and The Wire in case I'm not busy enough with the first three series. :P
Yesterday I went to buy paints with dad. The walls will get a creamy colour and I'm very happy with it. Now we just have to hope it looks as good as it should. :) I was getting a little headache-y while trying to decide which white-ish colour to choose, but once we got to the store, it was easy. Dad picked up the right one immediately and when I compared it to the others, they were all somehow wrong. The decision wasn't too hard to make after all.
We spent a couple of hours removing the wallpapers and I'm quite happy with the progress, though there's still a lot to do... I think I'm going to have to continue working on it today instead just watching TV. The walls are a little uneven under the wallpapers, but luckily dad has this machine with which he can even them out ("hiomakone" in English, anyone?). Dads are very useful creatures. Now he just has to arrange some time to visit me again because I can't start painting before he does.
