Relay for Life - support me, please!
I know times are tough for us all. Still, if you can spare $5, please go to http://main.acsevents.org/goto/hendy and support my participation in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. More is better, of course, but even $5 helps the ACS support those with cancer, as well as sponsor research toward a cure.
I didn't realize just how much the ACS does to support current cancer victims. They operate a 24-hour call center, so people can ask questions and find an understanding ear. Research is great, of course... but the day-to-day outreach is just as important to support.
