They had a ton of these at B&N today and I didn't buy one. WTF? Admittedly I'd been shopping all day and was/am dead tired, and had also just purchased a new Paperchase tote at Borders, but looking back now I really feel like an idiot for passing. Better go back for one, eh?

A few weeks ago I purchased a new toaster from the supermarket. It was around $8, plain, white, perfectly servicable. Doesn't burn my bagels. I was satisfied. But now? Now my local Target has the Hello Kitty toaster--

I'm still sleepy, so this one is kind of lazy. I had to sift through masses of garish neon tie-dye to get to these, but it was worth it--they're really pretty. Both have silver and purple metallic highlights that don't show up very well in the photo.
