Life is beautiful
Since my last post things have really been working out for the better.
Charlie and I have hung out with Palmer, his 18 year old girlfriend, and her friends. Oh high school kids... Charlie and I have decided to adopt this girl names Greta though, she's pretty cool. I'm just excited to see things working out for Palmer without him clinging to me. That was a big weight of my shoulders.
School is ridiculous as usual. I love my classes, but if we're not doing something appearantly that's a problem. My internship class is secretly freaking me out a little, thinking about the future and all. My classmates are my Lax family, and I wouldn't have it any other way. :]
Charlie and I did Relay for Life yesterday and we both donated our hair. For the first time since highschool, I have short hair. BAH! It's sooooo weird, but I like it. It'll be fun to see everyone reaching for my head when they see me on Monday. :P
In other news, I need to start kicking my ass proper. Charlie and I are in a Zumba Toning class with a couple other friends, but I'll likely only be able to go to 1/2 of them because of my night class. I'm starting to gain weight again, but I know I have enough self control to keep it from getting ridiculous. I just have to remember to take care of myself.
I just about had an aneurism yesterday because my computer charger wasn't working. I brought it into radioshack to see if it was the charger or the port on my laptop and they refused to believe that 2 chargers would shit out on me before I made them look at the weird bump in the wire, sure enough, there was a hole. I win. So I had to spend $80 on a charger, but it's pretty much universal and it's better than buying an external hard drive and then shipping my laptop off somewhere for like 2-3 weeks. Needless to say I'm pleased.
I suppose I should use my weekend off to get some things done as next weekend I work a buttload of hours. Off to read human sexuality!!
