I arrived in Arizona safe and sound on the morning of the 13th. I was soo very tired the night I left from packing and all the last minute work and errands I had to do. I renewed my permit and scheduled my driver's test for the 14th! I must frantically practice parallel parking in my mom's manual saturn. So last night after work I went with Mom and Marguerite to take the carpet out of my parents' condo. The tenant gave notice to move but skipped out and didn't pay the last month's rent. I had a great birthday today. Marguerite and the guys at work got me an ice cream pie, a card, a birthday balloon and a pretty rose in two different shades of pink wrapped in green tissue paper. Well, today is Michael's birthday and we're going to the Ichiban Japanese Restaurant with a bunch of his classmates this evening. I got Michael a Sudoku puzzle book and one of the CDs that Johnny Cash does a lot of cover songs on, most nameable "Hurt" by Nine Inch Nails and it has a bonus DVD with the music video on it.
