I made it in one piece...I think, lol.
I arrived in Arizona safe and sound on the morning of the 13th. I was soo very tired the night I left from packing and all the last minute work and errands I had to do. I slept off and on while I was on the plane. The flight was only less than 5 and 1/2 hours non stop so that was kind of nice. Michael picked me up and we went to breakfast at Mimi's Cafe which was absolutely yummy. We totally missed it on the way there but eventually we found it when we turned back (we were both really tired by that point). We hung out at the apartment for awhile and his dad came home from work and then we went to get an air mattress and some sheets at Target. After that we went to Blockbuster and rented X-men 3, A Great New Wonderful, and disc 4 of House: Season 2. X-men 3 was good, A Great New Wonderful was good but a little different, and House was awesome as always although we have only watched one episode (we have it for a week).
The next day we hung out the apartment watching stuff on Michael's iMac and messed about around on the internet and then I went to Moodswings Salon in Tempe to get my haircut and she also did my make up too which was fun. Its a cute bob at about chin length now. After that Michael and I went to the AZ State Fair and ate good bbq sandwiches and shared a cinnamon sugar funnel cake. We didn't end up going to the concert cause Jess had to work late but we still had fun. When the concert let out there were massive amounts of people so we left and went home to watch The Office and Weeds episodes that Michael had bought from iTunes. Sunday we watched more episodes, did stuff on the internet and I got to talk to Jess on the phone which was fun. I'm planning a bus ride to Tucson to see her so we can go the see Brandi Carlile together next tuesday.
Yesterday we went to Target and Fry's to get some pillows, a chair and groceries. We went to this place called Pick up Stix to eat and it was pretty good. Chinese food that is reasonably priced and good quality. I had the mongolian chicken and michael had sweet and sour chicken and we ordered some cream chease won tons which were yummy. I might have to get the sweet and sour chicken next time cause that was sooo good. Anyways, I think I've talked enough about food, lol.
Mom called me today to tell me I got my tax return check in the mail which is awesome. Oh, that reminds me I need to forward my mail. Must do that today. I got am email that ASD processed my transcript request so hopefully ASU West gets it soon.
So I'm job searching. I have an interview tomorrow at 1:30pm so wish me luck. Ok, back to job searching.....
