Welcome to Chudda Prime Entry (1)
Welcome back to Chudda! Well actually welcome to Chudda Prime. Everyone remembers Roland? You don't? Well you might want to go take a look at the previous chapter then. Just as a reminder Roland here is a Gemini and genetically he's exactly the same as his counterpart. However, this Roland rolled Knowledge/Fortune as his aspirations and longs to become a Space Pirate. His predestined hobby (took forever to pop up) is Music and Dance. So here we go!
So since Roland (Prime) wants a job he'll be living in an actual house. Difference number one has appeared. I wonder what he would think if he knew about the other Roland living off the land in Chudda Alpha? He needed to do some digging since we didn't have enough money for a bed.
The welcome wagon arrived and Marisa was there along with Brandi and Benji. But Roland only seemed interested in talking to Marisa. *giggles*
They had a water balloon fight and generally had an amazing time. They were good friends by the end of the day. Still I wanted to make sure Marisa was truly the one for Roland in both universes so I took him spouse hunting.
We headed down to the local rec center since this Roland could probably care less about fishing and bird watching. I had him scope out the place, but he didn't find a single gal he was interested in. This Roland is proving as difficult to match as the first one.
There was actually a dual purpose behind taking Roland down to the rec center. I was also trying to find out his hobby. Didn't have any luck, but I think he had a good time.
So the next morning Marisa came by for a visit and THIS was what he did after he greeted her. Yeah by now I have ACR installed. It's official now, these two were made for each other. *squee* And in Chudda Prime these two are a natural 3 bolt couple....which makes a lot more sense for these two.
So we didn't waste any more time fooling around. These two got hitched by the end of Tuesday afternoon. So we have the first true parallel between our legacy verses. Rolisa forever!
So Marisa brought in a nice chunk of change and wants to be at the top of the Dance career. Fitting since she and Roland share their love of Music and Dance in this uni. Second parallel. (In Chudda Alpha Marisa and Roland share the predestined Nature hobby)
Now here's a difference. In Chudda Prime Marisa actually acts like a pop sim. (Yep I gave her pop as secondary in both neighborhoods). Here she's the one wracking up the family friend count.
That's not to say that Roland doesn't put all those outgoing points to good use from time to time. The couple actually have a few mutual friends. Brandon Lillard happens to be one of them. He stops by the house quite a bit.
And these two? Still as adorable as ever.
Marisa got pregnant and spent a lot of her pregnancy blogging or chatting with friends. She lives on that computer. I wonder what she would think if she knew thee was a version of herself out there that didn't even own a computer?
Baby time arrived and Roland of course spent the whole time thinking about how much he wanted to kiss his wife. That's sweet, but I don't think it's all that helpful. And I was curious to see if these two would end up with a baby girl like their counterparts or something else.
And another parallel! Welcome to Chudda Prime Catherine. I guess these two were just meant to have a little girl named Catherine.
"Roland be sure you send the announcement to EVERYONE."
Roland thinking: "All 28 of them? Really?"
Yes Marisa really does have 28 friends. Not 28 best friends...yet. Told you she was the social one here.
And since these two both have fortune in their aspirations somewhere I send Roland to the phone.
In order to hire the nanny Kendal Lawson. But she's been pretty good with Cat, so I can breathe a sigh of relief. Normally if I want a good nanny I need to get Calista Despret. Usually Kendal here sets my house on fire and ignores the kids....
But Marisa and Roland are pretty good parents. I mean sure they don't spend near as much time with little Cat as their Alpha counterparts, but their alpha counterparts don't have jobs.
And before anyone knows it Catherine (Prime) is a toddler. Oh wow and is her personality different! Cat Prime has 10 Nice Points while her counter has 0. This Cat is also 10 Playful (oh that's gonna make school so fun) while her counter has only a few. She's also incredibly lazy while her Gemini counter is very active. About the only thing the two share is their number of outgoing points and their dad's custom eyes.
And Marisa ends the update with 30 friends. Geez she's putting Roland Alpha to shame. He barely had 12 when I left him. But I guess his plus is that he was actually BF with all of them and even BFF with a few of those 12. Marisa's only BF with her husband and Brandon at this point....still 30 friends is pretty freaking impressive.
