Sharon and Tim went to the hospital where the babies surgery will be done so they could do a series of tests and ultrasounds. Everything seems to be okay. Sharon is dilated 1 1/2 to 2 cm and is 25% effaced. For the uninitiated, that means her uterus has thinned by 25% of what it needs to be for delivery.
