One of the wonderful things I’ve discovered here in San Francisco, is that there’s great access to plenty of free shows and performances. Earlier in June I carted myself downtown before work to watch a free circus/acro/juggling/clown performance held near my work. Granted, it was for kids, but it was so much fun to watch, and really made me wish I could get started with my classes and be the one out there performing.

This past weekend, I had the chance to see another performance, this one a bit more in line with traditional circus with different performers and acts, with clowns to smooth the inbetween. It was a free performance by a group called Circus Bella. They’re a non-profit that does free performances in parks all summer long with the goal of making circus accessible to more people! It was FANTASTIC, and again, set me on fire to get going, get started, start performing.

Unfortunately, practicality has me waiting. I’ll be working extra hours all through July in order to build up a financial buffer with the hopes of starting classes in August.

In the meantime? I’m soaking up as much as I can.
