Sooo I just told my parents that I got a job in Atlanta and they are soooo excited for me!
I was super nervous bc they've watched me go through boyfriend after boyfriend, time and time again, but my Mom & Dad are superrr supportive with this one. My Mom was asking questions about him and my Dad was glad that I have everything lined up. I showed them the apartments we're looking at and they loved them.
I feel like 2,000 pounds was just lifted off of my chest.
I watched my Mom's face while we were talking and I can tell she is truly happy for me.
She has always been picky as fuck, and disapproves of MOST of my choices in life LOL. But I could see it in her eyes that she felt differently this time. This makes me so happy!
This is the greatest blessing ever... having my family behind me:)
