Since it is highly recommended tourist attraction, we were super excited when the day arrived for us to visit
Tsujiki Market. I was blown away by the sheer size and the variety of seafood and fresh produce that's available here. Also appreciative of the workers there who tolerated our presence as they continued with their work, whatever it may be. The sight of "turret trucks" transporting goods around the market was new to me. Their patience and ability to not knock into any of tourists meandering around is impressive.
At the market, it dawned on me to be thankful to all the fishermen who labour and toil so that we can enjoy all the wonderful seafood. I had fun walking around the fish market seeing humongous tuna and other rarely seen seafood but the ultimate favourite is really the street food! There were so many stalls with yummy looking food that I felt kinda overwhelmed. Bearing in mind that we still wanna eat sushi, we had to be cautious of our food intake. It was very challenging!
The turret trucks zooming past at inner market.
The variety and freshness of seafood is mind-blowing.
Bonito - didn't realise this is how they look.
Outer market - plenty of stuff to see.
Fresh wasabi
Imagine this cooked!
The food section!
So pretty and yummy.
The best Ebi croquette - perfectly fried and creamy inside. Insanely good!
Delicious Tomago
Shops at outer market
People just stand around to eat noodles etc..
The super crowded sushi place. We decided to go to another place. More on that in a separate post.
