Seventh Avenue in Manhattan is also called Fashion Avenue due to its role as a center of the garment and fashion industry. As such, you can still find numerous fabric stores along this stretch and it made for a fun walk even for someone like myself who is clueless about stitching and such. Both Stvn and I are ardent fans of Project Runway so as we walked along Fashion Avenue he happily pointed out Parsons The New School for Designs, familiar only because we'd seen it on telly in season 7. As you can tell I am sucker for cheap thrills :) Looking forward to the next season!
