EPIPHANY!!!
It doesn't happen very often, but yesterday, on my smoke break, I realized that the old axiom is true. History does, in fact, repeat itself! Ladies and gentlemen, the Roman Empire and...wait for it... ...waaaaaaaaaait... .....just a bit more.... ...Britney Spears. Allow me to explicate:
Starts out with the best of intentions.
Invasion.
Steals culture, theatrics, and religion from more experienced Greeks.
The height of decadence.
Civil disorder.
Finally, invasion by barbarians.
