Oh Dear Lord...Thank You
Oh thank you thank you Thank You Netflix. You're having a seemingly endless supply of Barney episodes for instant viewing pleasure has made babysitting Riley even easier. She's very good when she's at our house, but she does love her Barney. I don't really mind hearing Barney, and while there are episodes On Demand through our cable company..we end up watching the same episodes over and over again....but now...now I can watch different ones!!! Ones that I don't know the words to!! Right now we're watching a fairy tale one...which while isn't crazy interesting isn't completely annoying either.
I'm not sure what's going on today. I know we're going to the races, and I know we're suppose to be having a picnic thing for my future in-laws anniversary (which is...today I think). But, Riley's Mom went out to the bar last night (very rare thing that happens, and it is why we have our cutie pie) and she has yet to call this morning. Which really isn't surprising, as if I've been out drinking (which is also crazy rare) I'm usually not up before 9:30. I'm sure as soon as she wakes she'll be calling to make sure we have not killed her child. They are very close.
I'm very excited for the 24th. Mike and I are finally getting our egagement pictures taken! There's a local photographer who's done some work for both Amanda and a cousin, and is a close friend of another cousin. She's still new and therefore very cheap. We're also getting a bit of a discount because of so many of our family getting pictures taken through her. It's going to be 50 dollars for the session and then an additional 50 dollars for the disc, with a copyright release so that we can go get as many printed out as we want!! Which, is a HUGE deal when you have as much family as Mike and I do. I have 7 siblings and Mike has 3...plus my 9 Aunts and Uncles...on just one side. So, cheap photos that I can share with many people...that's a yay. Plus, I've never had any professional photos done. I mean, I've gone to Wal-Mart and such when I was a kid. But for this we're going to a park (not like the play kind...the kind that has trees and such) and getting pictures done. I actually need to start looking for poses that I like. If any one has any suggestions for poses for us please let me know.
Well...I'm not sure what's going on and Mike's mom is on the phone trying to get it figured out with him. So I'm going to see what we're doing.
