That is the most adorable scene ever....well, to me at least. I love them both so much. It's this picture, and the many more I have like it (Like the one of Mike painting Riley's fingernails) that makes my ovaries ache to have a baby with this man. His unconditional love for this little one, his niece, is so, it's really the most hear melting thing...ever. To me at least.
They sleep in sync. It's weird. Earlier I came into the room and they were both laying in the same position, then Mike shifted, and she shifted...but they shifted into the exact same position!!
Okay, beyond that. I have successfully turned in yet another assignment on time! Yay for me! I'm getting the hang of this 'being a good student' thing. Hehe. While I say that now, let's all wait to get too excited until I have a hard assignment. This last one, and the previous were both pretty easy. I'm actually sort of looking forward to the one that's due on Sunday. I'm not sure there are many wrong answers since it's a table of how we would react to some situations, yet it's worth 90 points! I'm down with that. Easy A's now, make for a better grade in the end...right?
There's some weird shit going on at my job...I'm not sure what, but it's giving me an oogy feeling. Hopefully it's just pissing my boss off because we're going to get our paid breaks back, though I'm not sure we're even getting that. Maybe she's just cranky...that tends to happen. She's a cranky pants. She's...I don't know. She's what people stupidly call bi-polar. Not saying bi-polar is stupid, saying that they think it's something it's not. Anyway, what I mean is that one day, she's the coolest boss on the face of the earth. The next, she's fired three or four people and chewed the rest of us out. One time I got chewed out in front of everyone for saying "Smile!" when she looked down. While I know it's annoying...and I probably deserved the chewing...it's not really very professional. ::sigh:: Hopefully something will change soon, but there's always that 'the devil you know' thing...
This is going to be a busy weekend for us. I'm hoping that I can lock the front and back door on Monday and just ignore the world. Tomorrow, family picnic and then the races (which I have little interest in, but we're taking my Daddy for a late Daddy's Day present), Sunday, no clue...hopefully nothing. And Monday...doors locked...maybe trying for a baby ::wink wink::
