My excuse is that I still had shelf space

I put an order in today with fabric-store.com for some linen. I bought 7 yards each of medium weight linen in Sunshine, Daffodil and Beige. The Sunshine is a pale color but very yellow. It is very close to the yellow in this fabric which I want to use for a Regency pelisse:

I thought it would be pretty to line it in a matching yellow. And if it doesn't match exactly, no biggie as it is on the inside. I do need to either run down to London to find a matching yellow fabric for the trim or take a swatch with me when I go to the US to get my doggies. Buying in the US would probably be cheaper, but a lot less selection where I will be. Depending how well the linen matches the yellow, I might buy the same shade in a handkerchief weight linen and make a day gown of it to wear under the pelisse.

The daffodil is a pale yellow but less of a true yellow. I thought it would make a pretty undergown/kirtle on the rare occasions when I do 13th or 14th century. Same idea for the beige which looks like a pale peachy pink. I have enough linen in a pretty color called English Rose (more of an orangey pink than rose) to make an overgown and it would look nice with either one of them.

Or... I can put it on the shelf until it tells me what it wants to be!
