Without a Mother

Without a mother
one needs so much

And no other gives such a
gentle touch,

There's others who try to
fill the gap,

But nothing takes the place of
a mother's lap.

The role that God has given
to be a mother -
Can never be filled by another.

As one looks back over
the years,

You are sure that with a
mother

There would have been
less fears and tears.
