[WU 2012.09] Enjoy the Summer! - Travis Japan
Going through past scans... and thinking about sharing one of the very first articles that made me starting to like Travis Japan!
I share Kai-chan's and Kaji's parts first because THOSE were the ones that made me got some interest in Trajap =))
I'm still working on Miyachika's part because his part has relatively many kanji I haven't remembered, so please be patient~
You know the rule: I'm not banning anyone from re-posting or re-translating my translation somewhere else, but please let me know first, and keep in mind that most of my translations are not beta-ed. Travis Japan: Enjoy the Summer!
Nakamura Kaito
(Morita) Myuto-kun is actually pretty narcissistic chara, you know (laugh). Because he often ask, "Who is the coolest among Travis Japan?" (laugh). After that, he would get disappointed if people doesn't say, "It's Myuto-kun." That's why we always answer as he wanted. However, sometimes we would joke around by saying, "It's Shimekake-kun!" and then he'd be sulking (laugh). Besides that, everyone is pretty lively. One time, before "Liar", (Matsumoto) Kouta-kun said, "My shoehorns disappear!!!" and was looking for them around, but then someone took out a hanger. Kouta-kun went with the flow and always responded by, "Yes yes, that's it... THAT'S NOT IT!", getting pretty excited (laugh). However, not only it's fun, but it's also become a great experience. I also get "You're becoming better in dancing." from fans. I would try hard everyday. I think it would be good if I can make progress at the end.
[Recent State] It would be good if my body get more tight~ Currently, there is a pool in my school, but I'm chubby so I don't want to change into swimming outfit (laugh).
[t/n: I really remember that this was the first Travis Japan article that got my attention! =)) I had their scans for a while, but I didn't really interested to them (at that time so I always skip from reading their article... I was only randomly reading this and... that narcissistic Myuto episode was so funny LOL. Anyway, I actually don't get the meaning of a word so I interpreted it as "chubby" just to make it closer~]
Kajiyama Asahi
One time, before a song called "Liar", Eda-kun suddenly asked me, "Hug Yuuma from behind." I thought, "EEH!?", but because Eda-kun told me, "Do it!", I slowly got closer and hugged Yuuma-kun, then got stared awkwardly by him (laugh). After that, I apologized so many times. Yuuma-kun always said, "It's okay, it's okay." but... that was nerve-wracking~! Talking about Eda-kun, when we did "ROAD TO PLAYZONE", I was in charge to take his harness. However, somehow I got closer to (Yamamoto) Ryota-kun's one. At the time I thought Eda-kun's disappear, he hit me at the shoulder (laugh). Eda-kun could not be seen at that time, you know (laugh). Everyday, various things like these happened, so dangerous but really fun.
[Recent State] Thanks to it, I now keep humming "Sushi kui ne~!" in small voice at school. Even when the teacher ask me, without thinking I ends up saying, "Yes! Sushi kui ne~!"--Sorry. Just now was only I'm being a bit too excited (laugh).
[t/n: This was also one of it! I laughed reading that "hug Yuuma from back" part =)) and I really respect (?) Kaji for still doing it =)) he was fairly brave then LOL]
Abe Aran
At a song called "LP Girl", Eda-kun and others were shouting "Be My Baby!" from audience seats. Because we want the audience to join shouting it. We were not participated in that song, but at the backstage we were shouting "Be My Baby Go!" in such a loud voice and getting excited all by ourselves (laugh). That's why, when we appeared at "Yoisho!", we tried so hard to drive the audience up. It's fun to sing such songs while everyone's tension up, after all. After that, before shows, Yuuma-kun came to our greenroom saying "Good morning!" and had some talks for about 3 minutes, and it's repeated almost everyday (laugh). The talks were only about "Lend me your cleansing foam~" and such (laugh). However, by that way we were so happy to get to talk to our seniors. Also there were all people with great dance skill, so we learned from them.
[Recent State] Talking about recent state... When it comes to summer, I start to get scared looking at people with sun visor (laugh). Because they hide their faces, at the time I find them I might get surprised (laugh).

Yoshizawa Shizuya
In the middle of the shows, when we were changing in the backstage, the songs that were played on the stage still could be heard. Then, Aran and Miyachika always danced along the songs, while only wearing pants, and saying things like, "Doesn't this movement look cool?" and such. Although we (the rest) were changing with the utmost effort (laugh). Such thing like dancing while changing is possible, but it must be tiring. Because the time between leaving stage to change costumes until appear on the stage again is really really tight. It always feels like we're running. There might be a time when that exhaustion seemed to show up on my face while I was on stage, so there was a fan letter written, "Shizuya-kun seems tired~" (laugh). I reflect on that! Anyways, "PLAYZONE~" is so much fun! The seniors are so kind and interesting, and coming everyday to theater these days makes me happy!
[Recent State] My recent state is, I win my school's basketball competition! I haven't practiced or touched ball for around 2 months or such, so I thought I might not make it. But I think I have (basketball) sense afterall (laugh).

Miyachika Kaito
"PLAYZONE~" is nothing but interesting! The nine people of Travis Japan got together (as in, basically get the same parts in shows), but the big brothers were really the best! They're interesting, especially Nakada (Hiroki)-kun. The topics made us laugh hard each time. One time, Nakada-kun and Shimekake-kun were quarreling playfully, but somehow their shouting were just like comedy (laugh). If one cursed about something, the other one would replied, "What are you cursing about!?" [Miyachika is basically tells about gags and jokes they did in PZ's backstage... a bit awkward to read it in English, but I think you can understand hehe.] It's fun to see their gags in the greenroom, and it feels like the gaps start to get smaller because we're together everyday. That was my first stage-play, and I was really nervous facing the first day, but after the first show ended the sense of accomplishment was really great. (...) After school I would feel "PLAYZONE~", but I enjoy both school and theater, everyday feels so rich!
[Recent State] At my off day, I go buying accessories with my friends. However, sometimes I think, "If I don't study... (it might be dangerous)." That's because I'm final year student (laugh).
[t/n: There is one line I haven't translated (indicated in brackets) because I can't read the kanji, sorry! Anyway, "everyday feels so rich!" is like... you can experience many things :D]
