I'm on the low end of quirky

1. Went to visit the BFF M yesterday. We went to see The Descendents featuring George Clooney, which was slow paced but decent, and had one of my favorite lines in a while (give your kids enough to do something, but not enough to do nothing). It was also nice to see suburban Hawaii as the setting for a film. It's been a long time since I've been, but I do remember it was beautiful (and touristy).

After the movie, we went to a pretty tasty burger place and hung out and chatted for hours. I stayed over and she made me quesadillas in the morning (yum).

2. Etsy shop news: I did a major revamp of the titles, tagging, and descriptions of my miniatures. Thankfully, this process was streamlined and made possible by Craftopolis, which has an express edit feature that allows me to batch edit a lot of listings at once. I think this will help me show up in targeted searches for people searching for miniatures, but I'm not entirely sure what the number of people actually searching for miniatures is. I feel like most of my shop sales are made up by impulse buyers intrigued by an adorable figurine of X, Y, or Z. In any case, we'll see how this affects my views/favorites/sales.

I also discovered craftcult.com which has more interesting stats and things, as well as a widget that doesn't appear to work with lj. Ah well.
