more boring school stuff
I didn't realize how much literary theory there would be in one of my classes. Luckily I took a class on critical theory, etc. a few years ago, which is a bit similar, so some of it already looks familiar just based on the reading list. Hopefully it won't be quite as hard this time around, but I am still expecting it to be a challenge. Philosophy/theory is a tough subject, but I'm excited for the class. The sad part is I don't think I'll get to read as many fun books this semester. Bummer dude.
I'm working my way through Charles Darwin's ON THE ORIGIN OF SPECIES right now. I'm enjoying it, it's interesting, but it is so dry and some parts are hard to understand/follow. Biology was never my best subject. So I'm working through it slower than I'd like, but his theories are certainly intriguing. Well, better get back to it.
