Who would like to help me make a semi-important cosplaying decision?

I will be attending Supernatural's VanCon this year for the first time. At least one day, I will be a female version of End!verse Dean. It's an understated gender swap--more or less the same except I will make no effort to disguise my boobs, such as they are, and am too chicken to cut my hair short enough to Dean style it. My costume is essentially all put together, other than finding some black boots, leaving the detail of what shall I do with my hair?

Currently, it's about to my mid-back, but I'm planning to get it cut to somewhere between jaw and shoulder length. My hair is very fine and very straight, so it does not cooperate very well regarding styling.

The only truly viable options are thus:

1) Just wear it down. My hair, when cut and left to its own devices, seems to always become a look I affectionately call "the Nancy Drew." It tends to fall more or less straight and flip up at the ends.

2) Two little ponytails. It won't really be long enough to pull into one, so it would be two. This is how I tend to wear my hair for work--it's practical and keeps it out of my face. Arguments for hunter's choice?

3) Two little braids. It might be long enough to get a few twists into it.

Opinions? Should I give you pictures of options 1-3 after I get it cut?
